MULTIFUNCTIONAL ELECTRICAL EXPLORATION RECEIVER MERI-24

The receiver MERI is designed for measuring the parameters of the DC and AC voltages under the field conditions during electrical exploration surveis.

Survey methods

• Resistivity method (measuring the amplitude of the signal fundamental harmonic) 

• Frequency sounding-induced polarization method (ChZ-VP) (measuring the ampltudes of the signal harmonics along with differential phase parameters at the output of the electrical and magnetic transducers in a wide frequency range)

•Natural electric field method (measuring constant electric fields)

• EMKPK method (measuring power frequency and cathode protection fields for the purpose of mapping and studying the state of underground utilities)

The receiver is equipped with a LCD display and keyboard and is power supplied from built-in storage batteries or from an external power supply source.

During surveying, the receiver measures the input signal, processes it, displays the values of the defined parameters on the LCD and saves them in memory. Besides, the receiver ensures viewing the signal records made in the real-time mode on the display and storing them in memory.

The measurement resultes then may be transferred to a PC for analyzing with the use of special software.
