GPR survey of paved runaways of Pridacha airfield (Voronezh)

GPR survey of Voronezh runway was performed with the aim to determine structural layers thickness and to discover structural abnormal areas till the top of the natural bed.

GPR OKO-2 with antenna units AB-1700 and AB-400 were used for the survey:

• •AB-1700 provides for investigating the section to 0.6-0.8m depth, indicating rather thin layers of 3-5 cm. This antenna unit was used to determine asphalt concrete upper layer and cement concrete underlayer thickness.
• •AB-400 features investigation depth up to 3-4 m and was used to study bottom soils.
