Study of runaways condition in Domodedovo airport (Moscow)

The works were performed with the aim to determine structural layers thickness and to discover structural abnormal areas till the top of the natural bed.

GPR surveying mapping was laid in the process of investigation. Two GPR lines were laid along the runaway: 8 m to the right and to the left relatively to Runaway-2 axis. Several transverse sections were laid at the problem areas for closer investigation.

Antennas AB-400 and AB-1200 with 0.15 m and 0.05 m resolution, 2 m and 0.6-0.7 m sounding depth, correspondingly, were used for surveying.
